Your Lumea comes with various attachments, each of which is intended to be used on a particular area of the body. Don’t use the attachments on areas they are not intended for. Check your user manual to determine which attachments came with your specific Lumea model.
What are the differences between the Philips Lumea attachments?
Body attachment
The body attachment is included with all Lumea models. The body attachment has the largest window size and a curved design to effectively cover and treat areas below the neckline.
Face attachment
The face attachment has a small, flat design and has the smallest window size for precise treatment below the cheekbones. It also has an extra integrated red filter for treatment on the face below the cheekbones.
Note: do not use Lumea on male neck and face. The hairs in these areas have different characteristics.
Precision, bikini, and armpit attachment
Depending on your model, your Lumea may come with with a precision, bikini, or underarm attachment (or a combination of these). These attachments have a medium window size and a curved-out design for precise and effective use on bikini and armpit areas.
Why is my Philips Lumea attachment missing its glass?
Some Lumea attachments do not have a glass filter in the light exit window by design.
The body and underarm attachments of your Lumea do not contain a glass filter. The face attachment contains a red glass filter. Depending on your Lumea model, your bikini and precision attachment can contain a transparent glass filter.
