Love the Philips machine it's Amazing I love it got it at a barging price worth the money now i want to add on an extra part to it to make it Louder and cooler for the Party's you want at Christmas i would highly Recommend if you like having having party's having mates round or just being your own dj my kids thinks its wicked :D SO THUMBS UP

i use this stereo all the time and i have never had any problems with it since the day that i have bought it and i have been very impressed by the music quality and sound that the stereo produces when playing my music and plus it doesn't cost that much on electricity.

Perfect for small occasions when you need a little oomph

The only down side to the product is that it damages easily, for example the two holes where air comes. When I purchased mine it was chipped. Then when got my second one my headphone wire ripped of some of the paint. So an improvement would be to use better paint. But over all a absolutely brilliant product.

Im a pro DJ and although u couldnt use this unit professionally, I have just bought one of these plus the additional speaker unit for my daughter to stop her messing around with my gear..... It lacks a lot of features that a DJ would require but for a kid its a great bit of kit. Its well made and looks good with twin "decks" and built in lights. The 300w output sound is BIG.....then you add the additional 240w speaker and the sound is massive..... The main issue with the setup is iPad connectivity....the iPads have to be connected into the decks using cables which get in the way of the decks and controls...the one improvement I would make is to put extra apple connections into the body of the unit which would allow 2 ipads to be used. I picked up both units for £450 which is a small price to pay to keep her away from my stuff lol.

not actually bad for house parties, but should have a variable tempo, looks really good and i am impressed with the sound. A cd drive would have been a good addition. usb drive takes time to read a hard disk sized 1tb works fine with a smaller pen drives i like the feature i can turn off the led light led should me more specific showing songs or album name

In response to Luke who gives this product a one star review because "Controls facing the wrong way", I also initially got that impression from the limited range of photos provided. But watching the video, it is apparent that the docks CAN be rotated a full 180 degrees so the that speakers face away from the DJ. If the LCD display in the central crossfader section can also be electronically flipped, all is good. This is a nice looking unit that ought to put out a lot of sound for a small box. My concern is there is no indication of any beat matching (variable tempo) capability. Without that feature, it is not suitable for producing smooth transitions in a continuous DJ mix. It still might be fine for casual parties which are probably its intended use.
