5000 Series

I use a Airfryer daily and I was really keen to see how the steam function would compare and I have really enjoyed using the Airfryer. The chicken came out lovely and crispy on the outside while staying really juicy and tender inside. I also tried vegetables using the steam function and they stayed moist and full of flavour rather than drying out, which was a real bonus. I cooked French fries with absolutely no added oil and they were ready in around 7 minutes. They were crispy on the outside but still lovely and fluffy inside. In fact, I didn't need to add oil to anything I cooked, including meat and vegetables, which made me feel like I was cooking healthier meals without sacrificing the taste or texture. The dual baskets are also really useful. The 6L and 3L baskets give you plenty of flexibility to cook different foods at the same time. This is particularly useful when you're cooking a family meal and don't want one part of the meal sitting around getting cold while the other finishes. I found the controls very easy to understand and set up. The HomeID app is also helpful when you first get the Airfryer, as it takes you through the setup and has plenty of recipes and ideas to try. I found this useful for getting familiar with the different functions. The SteamClean function is another feature I really like. It makes cleaning easier and helps prevent grease and residue from building up inside, which is especially useful when you are using the Airfryer regularly. The only thing I would mention is the size. It is a fairly large appliance and does need a good amount of worktop space, so it may not be ideal for a small kitchen. However, for a family and for everyday cooking, I think the size and dual baskets are worth it. Overall, I think this is a really versatile Airfryer. The combination of steam and Airfrying genuinely impressed me, particularly with how crispy food can be while still keeping meat juicy and vegetables moist. I also loved being able to cook without adding oil. For someone who uses an Airfryer regularly and wants to make everyday cooking easier, this is definitely an appliance I would recommend.

This is a product. I am incredibly happy with. All of my friends and family members have given me a huge amount of compliments on this particular air fryer. I have used it now and I have found that I can make so many different things with this air fryer and the fact that it is too chamber makes things really easy. It has so many different settings and it cooks food pretty much perfectly. This is a huge upgrade compared to my previous air fryer and I can imagine that this will last me several years. I'm really impressed and I can't imagine anything else better than this. It looks great in the kitchen and I think that this is a products that I'm going to recommend to all of my friends and family. I am incredibly happy.

I absolutely love this product,it steams vegetables perfectly best carrots ive ever tasted.Steam airfried a whole chicken the meat was succulent and tender and skin nice and crispy.Roast potatoes turned out delicious with a limited amount of oil brushed over them.The clean function seems to work however for greasy items I'd rather hand clean.Tried cooking a cake on the preset cake function and it turned out excellent.Having used airfryers for a few years this machine is by far and away the best the build quality is very good and it looks amazing on my counter top also it is incredibly quiet I would definitely recommend this appliance

I have been using it to prepare crispy snacks and different dinners for my family. The food comes out lovely and crispy and I can cook with less oil. I like the large basket because it gives me enough space to prepare food for the whole family. It is easy to use and makes cooking much more convenient, especially on busy days. I also like that I can try different recipes and cook a variety of meals in one appliance. The steam function is a useful extra feature. Cleaning after cooking is simple which is always a big plus for me. It is great for preparing quick snacks when the family feels hungry and for making everyday dinners. Overall I am happy with this airfryer and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and convenient way to cook at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family of three, including a four-year-old, we wanted an air fryer that could handle everything from small lunches to larger family meals without being complicated to use. The Philips 5000 Series Megabasket has been excellent for this. The interchangeable basket setup is probably my favourite everyday feature. Being able to cook a small portion in the 3L section, use the larger 6L section or remove the divider entirely for a massive 9.5L basket is incredibly convenient. Switching configurations takes seconds. We’ve used it for cooking meals, reheating leftovers, warming bagels and toasting buns for lunch. It’s also been great for fish, chips and vegetables, with consistent cooking results across our different uses. Another thing that surprised us was how quiet it is. When running just the smaller basket, it’s barely noticeable. Cleaning is refreshingly straightforward thanks to the SteamClean function. It helps loosen food residue, so we’ve generally only needed to give everything a rinse afterwards. There is one thing worth being aware of, though. Steam is released from the rear during cleaning, and when we initially positioned ours close to the wall, it left a small mark. I’d definitely recommend leaving adequate space behind it. Despite that minor issue, it’s a really practical, well-designed appliance that fits brilliantly into our family routine. It’s a very large machine, I prefer the format of this rather than the tall ones you might struggle to fit in a cupboard or on the side but it’s large enough that it might need some storage consideration.

I have been using the at fryer for a few week and found it easy to use and the food is very tasty using the steam frying option, the option of the single basket is great for doing a medium size chicken

Absolutely love this Philips 5000 Series air fryer. I genuinely use it around 80% of the time now and it has completely reignited my passion for cooking. It’s become one of those appliances you wonder how you ever lived without. I cook all sorts of things in it, from chicken and salmon to roast potatoes, vegetables, dim sum and gyoza. The steam function is brilliant, especially for veggies and dumplings, and the steam fry feature keeps chicken wonderfully juicy while still giving great colour and texture. The Rapid Air technology makes fantastic crispy fries, honestly far better than the results I used to get from my old air fryer. Everything cooks quickly and evenly, and the recipes in the Philips app are genuinely useful and inspiring rather than just filler content. It’s also very easy to use and quick to clean, which means I end up using it even more. The stainless steel finish looks premium and wipes clean effortlessly, so it still looks smart on the countertop. An excellent appliance overall and one of the best kitchen purchases I’ve made in years.

Replaced my original Philips Airfryer after several years of heavy use with this duel basket. It's absolutely lived up to expectation and more. The steam feature is brilliant and the combined feature a stroke of genius. Made some fantastic Crispy Chicken strips and delicious vegetable dishes with this machine. It makes fish and chip night so easy. My oven is only getting light use now, which is saving me money. Best appliance in the kitchen and it's getting used more or less daily!

The dual baskets are a fantastic feature, letting me cook two different foods at once, and the bigger basket is perfect for larger meals. The preset cooking settings are super handy, making it easy to cook just about anything. I also love the shake reminder—it takes the guesswork out of cooking! The steam clean function is another great touch, making it so much easier to clean. One thing to keep in mind is that the air fryer is on the larger side but ideal for bigger families. The instructions are available online instead of being included in the box, but we were able to print them out for easy reference. All in all, I highly recommend this air fryer—it’s made cooking for our family of five much quicker and more convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The larger compartment can self clean, which is very helpful. I like that there are two different compartments of different sizes to allow you to cook bigger or smaller items, and you can sync it for both to cook at the same time. It hardly makes any noise when cooking, but it could be improved by making a little more noise at the end to let you know it is done. It has a large capacity and can easily be used to cook a meal to feed a family.
