My Philips Heater's temperature differs from other thermometers

Published on 28 August 2024
You may notice slight differences in the ambient temperature displayed on your Philips Heater, or the app, compared to other thermometers or your sense of temperature. To find out why, read our article below.

Differences in displayed temperature

Various factors, such as room size, ventilation conditions, and the distance between the thermometer and the heater, can influence the ambient temperature. These variables can contribute to slight variations in temperature readings.

Additionally, each type of thermometer has its measuring accuracy, which can lead to variations in temperature readings. These differences in accuracy can explain the inconsistencies you may notice between the display on your heater and other thermometers.

Occasionally, the residual warmth within the heater can result in a reading delay on the ambient temperature display. This delay may cause slight variances compared to other thermometers or your sense of temperature.
