My Philips Avent Breast Pump won’t switch on

Published on 15 November 2022

If you are wondering why your Philips Avent Breast Pumps won’t switch on anymore, please read the below guidance.

For your Philips Avent Breast Pump

Your Philips Avent Electric Breast Pump needs to be plugged in for it to turn on. Make sure you use the provided plug, and check that it is attached sufficiently to the motor unit and into the power outlet.

If this does not solve the issue, please go to: Why is the power interrupted on my Philips Avent Breast pump?

For your Philips Avent Premium Breast Pump

Your Philips Avent Electric Breast Pump can be used cordless or while plugged into a power outlet. If used cordless, the breast pump requires a long press to turn on. Make sure you hold down the power button for around three seconds.

If it still doesn’t turn on, the battery may be empty. Try plugging the device into the different power outlets and allow the battery to charge. Make sure you use the provided adapter, and check that it is attached sufficiently to the motor unit and into the power outlet.
