Sleep soundly

in our arms

You can find sound, restful sleep in our arms. Users reported DreamWear's innovative headgear with arms delivered a more secure fit and seal, and provided a satisfying quality of sleep when compared to our original headgear.5-6 This slip-resistant design is similar to eyeglasses’ arms. It holds your mask securely in place above, not touching, the ear with soft, flexible arms. DreamWear’s headgear with arms wrap you in comfort so you can just sleep, not worry about your mask moving causing leaks during the night.

Finding the right fit is easy

Fitting

The DreamWear Nasal cushion comes in four sizes to provide you with your best fit (small, medium, medium-wide and large), so you can find the fit that works best for you. This video will show how easy it is. Or follow the handy fitting guide instructions below.

Fitting Guide for DreamWear Nasal Headgear

Using the nasal cushion sizing gauge (included with the mask or download at the link above), hold it horizontally under the nose. Select the cushion size based on where the outer edge of the nostrils and tip of the nose contact the gauge.

Note: Four cushion sizes (small, medium, large, medium-wide) are available. Please refer to your instructions for use for further fitting information.

Philips always recommends consulting a sleep or respiratory therapist in fitting a mask to ensure a proper sizing and fit.

Nasal: Step 1

Step 1

The cushion opening will be directly under the nostrils. The cushion will hug the nose and leak will be minimal.

Note: At no time should the nose be inside the cushion opening. If any part of the cushion overlaps the nose, the cushion is being worn incorrectly.

Nasal: Step 2

Step 2

With the mask assembled, place the cushion under the nose.

Nasal: Step 3

Step 3

Position the frame on the top of the head. Pull the headgear over the back of the head.

My headgear slips, how can I fix it?

We have introduced a new slip resistant headgear design for DreamWear Nasal & Gel Pillows mask. It not only reduces slippage but also improves overall stability of the mask. You can get the new headgear from your local homecare provider.

I have the updated slip resistant headgear with arms, do I need to buy a new mask?

The updated slip resistant headgear with arms will work with your current DreamWear Nasal or Gel Pillows mask. It connects to the existing loops on the mask frame. You do not need a new mask to use this headgear unless recommended by your homecare provider.

How do I know I am putting on the headgear with arms correctly?

For easy orientation note the L & R symbol on the arms. Loop the tab with the L symbol through the left side loop on the frame and R on the right side. Once correctly assembled the L&R symbols will face outwards, DreamWear logo on the fabric will be on the right & Philips Respironics logo will be on the back of the headgear.
