Philips Lumea IPL includes safety features to help users select a comfortable treatment setting. Some users with sensitive skin or skin conditions may experience temporary skin reactions, which are generally mild and temporary when the device is used as directed.

Details: Philips Lumea IPL is developed with skin comfort in mind and is generally well tolerated, including on sensitive areas, when used correctly. Performing a skin test and selecting the most comfortable intensity helps ensure a gentle experience. Mild skin reactions such as temporary redness or a warm sensation may occur, but these effects are usually mild and short-lived (see the user manual for details).
