Because most Philips shavers are designed to be waterproof, we only recommend having the battery replaced by an authorized Service Center. Opening the body of your shaver may compromise its watertightness, potentially leading to damage or injury.

The battery of the Philips i9000 Series can be replaced by a Philips Service Center at any time during the shaver’s lifetime (including after the warranty expires).
