Can I use powdered ingredients in my Philips vacuum blender?
Updated on 2021-07-04
Using powdered ingredients in your Philips vacuum blender could damage the appliance, unless you follow this trick:
Dissolving powdered ingredients with liquid
If you add powdered ingredients (such as powdered sugar, cocoa powder, roasted soybean flour or protein) in your Philips vacuum blender, these ingredients could be sucked into the vacuum system and damage it. This is why we ask you to dissolve any powdered ingredients before adding them to your vacuum blender. You can do this by briefly blending these ingredients with liquid in a separate container.
