You Philips Avent DECT baby monitor has a built-in Smart Eco and Eco Max mode that will save energy. Find out more how these modes differ from each other.
What is Eco Max mode of my Philips Avent baby monitor
Smart Eco mode
You Philips Avent DECT baby monitor has a built-in Smart Eco mode that automatically reduces the radio signal from the baby unit as the distance between parent unit and baby unit becomes shorter. Reducing radio transmissions helps to save energy.
Eco Max mode
You can use Eco Max mode to save more energy and stop all radio transmissions. In Eco Max mode, the radio signal of the baby unit is completely switched off. As
soon as the baby makes a sound, the radio signal of the baby unit automatically switches on again.
The Eco Max indication flashes on the display and the ‘link’ light flashes green slowly to indicate that Eco Max mode is activated.
Note: In Eco Max mode, the parent unit receives feedback from the baby unit with a short delay.
