Head Shaver Pro 5000 SeriesEssential shaver with ComfortCut Blades

I was quite bald for several years but finally decided that it was more sensible for me to totally shave my head. This is the first head shaver that I have ever purchased. I did so on the recommendation of two friends and after researching head shavers in general and the Phillips website. This model seemed a good place to start, especially at £59.99. I have used it almost daily since I collected it on 31/07. It works extremely well, very easy to clean and gives a very good close shave. I am delighted with this purchase, how easy it is to use and the end result after every use. I have not suffer any irritation or cuts and I could not be happier with the shaver.

I use the head shaver in the shower which results in a really close shave. I only shave my head so the battery is lasting ages and the cutters will not need changing for three years!

I purchased this as a replacement for another well known brand which I had trouble sourcing new heads for. The 5000 model was not much more expensive than a new head for my old shaver would have cost. The Phillips performed easily as well as my old model but with the benefit of far less skin irritation. My only regret is not having spent a little more on the 7000 model , as it comes with a nice storage bag and has a longer run time (the 5000 bag is pretty useless). Overall I would definitely recommend the Phillips Head Shaver Pro series.

really good although I got an 3excellent offer for almost half price from Amazon so was worth buying this is my first head shaver and I do my head every3 days or so and its really good my partner loves how smooth my head is after using it

I used to have a Pitball skull shaver. It was ok but was forever having to buy new heads (which incidentally are 50% of the cost of the complete Philips unit). At about 14 months the motor gave up. No interest whatsoever from their customer service and only solution they could offer was buy a new one! So I started my search for an alternative. The Philips consistently came out on top so I took the plunge. And I'm glad I did. The unit is robust, cuts a lot closer and a lot faster too. The biggest bonus is that when you register you get a 5 year warranty. My previous experience with Philips is that this is worth its wait in gold. Their customer service is excellent, don't send you all around the houses and then make excuses as to why you don't qualify for a warranty replacement. Would highly recommend this shaver if you need a solid product that does what it says!

Have tried a few this year, decided to spend a little more after the others fell apart when trying to clean. Easy to clean, battery lasts about 10 days after using it everyday, quick to charge. Premium travel case. Nice bit of kit.

Purchased this skull shaver obviously to make life easier for myself whilst shaving my head,ive Got to say I was not dissapointed,the results are amazing so close of a shave that my head is actually smooth as a babys bottom,considering my hair was around 0.8mm long. Another plus is the fact that no hair went anywhere as the shaver catches it all also the cleaning pot makes life easier place shaver in with water turn on for 1 minute and it came out spotless,I bought this during a promotion on Amazon so got it for a really good price. My only gripe is the fact the shaver blades need changing everyv6 months and replacements are not cheap.

I have used cheaper head shavers and I must admit that was false economy, the Philips head shaver is the best I have used , it gives a nice clen shave , the travel case is perfect , I took this on a motorcycle touring holiday and it stayed safe. it is easy to clean and charges quickly. the added bonus is the spare heads you get in the box. the unit is weighted just right . I love it
