Shaver series 3000 HQ6990/16 Dry electric shaver

this razor is the best i have had,it makes you want to shave,I think its Philiping amazing. (I like it).

I've had this shaver 3 years now, and despite getting a new at896 this will still be used while travelling, Philips without any doubt make the very best rotary shavers, which is why I only buy Philips, in the 3 years I've had the hq6990 it has never let me down, the heads have never been replaced and yet still cut like they were new, its very light, easy to use, charges quickly and will continue to be used for years to come, and the Philips 2 year warranty is brilliant for peace of mind.

This is the first electric shaver I had after only having very cheap ones, and this was a few years ago. I still have not had to buy another because I am so happy with this one. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't give the closeness of a wet razor shave, but it is still good enough. Whenever I am going to be away from home I always take this and don't even bother bringing the cable because the battery life seems to get me through an awful lot of shaving.

I got my first Philips shaver fifty years ago. It was a 21st birthday present. I have seen the shaver evolve into the perfect shaving tool and I use my Philishave everyday.

This is not my first Phillips product and will certainly notr be the last very pleased with this shaver does exactly what it says and does more than 10 shaves on a charge Well done Phillips

Great to get back to the Phillips shaver head after some years with an more expensive Reminton product. Pity it's not waterproof but otherwise a comfortable, compact shaver.

Gives a good shave, fast charge, long time between charges. All the features you need and none of the gimmicky features you don't that bump up the price on the more expensive models

Efficient and functional shaving system, providing a clean close shave. Extremely good value.

I cannot fault the razor, unfortunately I have been shaving with a blade for many years and using the electric razor seems to pull the hairs from my neck or it nicks the skin, whichever it happens to be, I have a permanent red blotch around my neck. I am 68 so perhaps my neck isn't as taut as it should be. It shaves my face area perfectly and I have used it every day for five weeks, but I have finally given up and gone back to the blade.

This is the best razor I have ever had. It is so easy to use and reliable. I am so glad I got this model. Philips are a great company. I have bought a lot of their products over the years. This razor is a mean, lean shaving machine.
