Controls easy to use and glides effortlessly across the material. Steam function works perfectly. I like the long length of cable This is the best of several Philips steam irons I have had over the years One minor quibble is that it is difficult to see the water level because of the rather dense coloured container. Overall, an excellent buy, albeit somewhat pricey. P.D.

Very good Product I recommend does the job very well

This product has great features like good power (2800 w are the compromise to not turn off your electric board....), excellent glide (from 3 that I tried) and two main features: auto power standby and the peace's are ironed in almost one passage!....Very good!

Whilst I have always used Phillips irons I am very di asatisfied with this model as when you use it on steam and regularly do a cal clean it still ommits dirty marks on the cloths being ironed from the soleplate. My daughter has the same iron and again she has the problem, you never know when it is going to happen! My daughter was ironing a cvostume for World Book Day the other day and it happened to her and the costume needed to be washed which resulted in my grand daughter not being able to wear the costume.
