Azur Performer PlusSteam iron

I am very pleased with this iron. It is light to use, the flex is ample for where I do my ironing and the water tank is a good capacity. I particularly like the Eco steam feature and it is easy to switch to full steam mode for difficult creases. The sole plate is slightly larger than my old iron, something which I find an advantage. All in all a good iron. Would recommend.

I have been provided with this iron as a replacement for a phillips azur iron, for use in my work. I spend 2-3 hours ironing at a time. This iron produces little steam, drips water, the handle is difficult to hold without the cord sticking into your hand, The 2 metre cord is far too short. If I had purchased it myself I would have returned it. I use Phillips azur irons in several places and at home

The soleplate is awful, it sticks and burns on most garments, irrespective of fabric or temperature settings. Once it is dirty/sticky it is almost impossible to clean but soon sticks again as it is cleaned.
