Beardtrimmer series 7000 QT4090/15 Vacuum beard trimmer

I have used this trimmer for over two year and it has been fantastic.

This is my first trimmer, and have to say I'm very impressed with its performance. Doesn't snag or catch, and the vacuum feature is very effective and mess free. Really easy to use.

I love this beard trimmer. I previously owned a beard trimmer from Philips but was never the same after I had dropped it (they don't bounce). Decided to buy this as a replacement and glad I did.

the only disadvantage is about the minimum hair height, i would recommend to cut the hair shorter.

Value for money and good product. However it needs emptying often otherwise loses suction.

this product was an early version of the current line of vacuum shavers, it works great except it has one downside, the vacuum wasn't powerful enough and meant you ended up with dropped beard hair as well as a full chamber to empty.

I've had this trimmer for about 5 weeks - overall its good but the vacuum intake gets in the way and lower cutting blade is set too low beneath the static higher cutting blade - or maybe the teeth need to be finer (smaller) to get a close cut to achieve a close stubble finish - very difficult to trim under your nose or trim the edges of your hair. The one saving grace is that the other small cutting head gives a close stubble finish but that takes time and patience and you must be careful with this cutter as its a bit more extreme - not so face friendly like the main cutting head. If Philips supplied an extra full width cutting head that was designed in the same way as the small head with finer teeth and face friendly - this would make this trimmer much more versatile and you would sell twice as many and be 5 star rated ! :-)

This little beauty *should* be everything you need in a beard trimmer. It does do what it says on the box. Kind of... Unfortunately the comb and blades are positioned in a really awkward way that means that unless you have had your nose broken you will end up with a little dictator style tash in time. (Not very cool at all). This, in my opinion is due to the blade being protected by the comb too much. Furthermore the closest shave doesn't seem anywhere near close enough, and comparatively the cut is definately longer than my previous trimmer which also boasts "from 0.5mm" The "Vacuum", is passable, and collects much of the hair cuttings, but is by no means strong enough to do the job properly, so the sink still needs cleaning afterwards... which pretty much defeats the object of having it. Ergonomics and design wise, I have only one small niggle which is the plasticy lightweight feel which reminds me of my 3 year olds toy lightsaber.... Overall this trimmer did trim my beard. It reached the bits it needed to reach (Thanks to my previously broken nose), and sucked up much of the mess I created in using it. Unfortunately it was not good enough for me to continue using. I now have the vacuumless model on order - I will let you know how it goes. Ru

On my third trimmer after TWO broken door catches - far too flimsy. Can't get to area under your nose as comb sticks out too far - have to trim by hand! Hair compartment has to be laboriously cleaned with a brush very frequently as it clogs quickly, but won't empty by tapping/shaking. The previous vac trimmer was much better, and each charge lasted much longer.
