this iron gets good reviews so we bought it. wow, what a difference, by far the best iron i have used. one pass of the iron over a shirt and it's smooth. magic! seems to produce a good amount of steam so not sure how it can be enery efficient but it's much quicker so that saves time and energy. buy it!

You will not go wrong with this iron. If you like a heavy iron this is your 'baby' It does everything it claims,settings are great,steam powerful and nice long lead. I had a Philips iron for 12 years previously and this one is just as wonderful-has not dissapointed.

I am delighted with this iron and would recommend it without hesitation. It makes ironing a pleasure.

This light, very comfortable steam iron is very easy to use. The iron warms up very quickly, the steam is very easy to control, non drip, and very smooth to push and pull. The only criticism is the trailing electrical wire stick up and can brush the forearm. Some people may find this obtrusive. But a minor point hence only four bar rating.

I purchased this as the person I pay to clean my house and iron my clothes told me that I needed a new one. I loathe ironing, so my criteria are simple: my clothes are adequately flattened when I return from work (thus demonstrating that the iron functions effectively); and I have no need to buy a new one (an indicator of its reliability). Having had neither to get it out of the cupboard where I believe it is kept nor to purchase a new one, this product clearly meets those criteria.

Light weight, easy to use iron, great steam/energy saving feature, uses less water, no drips etc. Long cord. Don't really have any concerns other than the handle rubber piece is falling apart so that could have been made more solid. Also the print of max,min,silk type set could have been bigger, too small print for those with weak eyesight!

I Use to have a Philips Iron before, which i planned to change with a more powerfull one. I grounded on Philips EnergyCare Steam iron GC3640, and on receiving the product it was really a good choice. Though have not yet used it much, but would say that really enjoy the handling and power of the Steam. Its really a good decision to go for it. Also As it suggests it seems to be really Energy care, As I also had one more Iron for other brand with same power and the energy consumption between two of these irons is drastic,

Great product, easier glide than my old iron, does the job very well and the clean function is very good, although sometimes the limescale does come on to the clothes.
