Decent audio quality, two alarm settings and a phone charger! This products got way too low ratings on this website. It works perfectly and does everything I want. It also looks really cool. The only con is that you are unable to adjust the alarm audio level. It is the perfect level though. The alarm starts with a low sound level, but within 5 minutes it has reached a very comfortable sound level. If you use the radio without the alarm function the level can be set to a higher level.

I bought this as an impulse purchase as I needed a radio/alarm and wish I'd read the reviews on this first. I've never come across a radio/alarm more complicated. I still haven't figured out how to make the radio come on as the alarm, rather than the buzzer and the instructions don't make it clear at all. It's very fiddly to use and it's annoying there isn't a dial for radio stations so it takes forever to push the button through the different stations. It's just too much hassle for a simple thing so I will be returning it.

Bought as a replacement for alarm clock radio which was dropping its alarm settings. Thought it would be useful for charging my iPhone, with 30 pin connector, and my wife's iPhone, with Lightning connector, with just a switch of the cradle as not many clocks with docking stations these days support the 30 pin connector. However I did not spot on the packaging that the cradles were not fitted with the appropriate connector. I found the small print on the side after I'd opened the box at home and discovered that I'd need extra cables. This needs greater emphasis on the packaging. Although I'd got spare cables it's such a fiddle to set it up that I probably won't use this feature for both phones. Also very disappointing that I can't play music from my iPhone. Not intuitive to set up but by consulting the on line manual I was eventually able to set up the alarm and the pre-sets for the radio. The quick start leaflet could be improved. Overall a relatively cheap clock with some good ideas which could have been so much better. Not bad enough to take back but would not have bought it if I had been aware of the above issues.

Yes, I confirm that the alarm level is low and cannot be adjusted. I am not sure what Philips developers were thinking. They could have added a simple feature to allow the volume level setup. Not sure if I should recommend it, I like the product but the low volume issue really bothers me.

i brought this thinking that it could charge my iPhone and it does however you have to supply the cord to do so and the alarm does not get loud enough to wake me up so the whole reason for wanting an alarm clock is for it to wake you up lol

It does what it says, no complaints. Until morning, when you realise the alarm goes off at less than half the maximum volume with no way to change this. Idiotic, stupid decision. I only woke up today because of my phone defeating the purpose for why I bought this...

Philips says can listed to CD of your choice on sleep timer - this does not appear to be the case. The full user manual indicates you can set radio as the alarm source yet gives no instructions on how to achieve this. Overall a very poor product.

I received the clock radio and have now decided to send it back to Philips, as the manual is totally useless. What is wrong with writing down the steps required instead the hopeless infographics used. Waste of time and money, don't buy!

I bought this to replace an alarm clock that could play music when I had my phone plugged in. Don't expect this to happen when you buy this model as it doesn't happen. It purely is a phone charger that you can attach to the alarm clock. If you have a certain model android phone the usb cable is supplied, but if you have an iphone than you need to use your own cable, which for me defeats the object. I assumed the source button was to change from the alarm clock's inbuilt radio to the USB cable to play music through the speaker, but this is not the case. If you press source it changes to the inbuilt radio back to the normal mode. Do not buy this clock if you expect to listen to your music from your own device through the alarm clock's speaker as it does not work. Pity as I have had Philips alarm clocks in the past that have gone on for many years, but this particular model has disappointed me.

Took me over half an hour to stumble across setting the time after first failing at setting the radio. It then woke me at midnight when I hadn't even enabled the alarm function as far as I know. I've now had to unplug it!
