4 tips to get a confident start to the day!

Wakey, wakey, it’s time to start your day right! So many of us suffer most within the first few hours of our day, we’re at our least productive, least pleasant and frankly, our least enthusiastic about what could actually be a pretty great day.

 

We have the know-how to turn those groggy mornings into the ideal start to a wonderful day - here’s our top tips for making the best of the morning.

Step 1. Wake up early

And yes, this means actually waking up early, not setting an early alarm so you can snooze for an extra hour! Your morning should be a time of preparation and reflection. When you wake up early you’ll be able to set your mood for day to follow doing something that you enjoy; be it making a nice breakfast, watching a little TV, or even scrolling through your phone. What you do doesn’t actually matter, it’s that you’re up, feeling active and ready for the day to come.

Step 2. Get out of your bedroom

You’re only human, the enticing embrace of your quilts and pillows is enough to weaken even the hardiest of morning people. You need to wake up and get into another room, we recommend the kitchen! Nothing kick starts your day like a great breakfast.

Step 3. Find a routine that works

We’re creatures of habit, we love a good routine and our body loves them too. Find a pattern that works well for you, we don’t all need an excessive amount of sleep, but we do need a rhythm for our body to jam to. Give yourself enough time every morning so that you can confidently walk into the day ahead.

Step 4. Plan at your own pace

Some people are nighttime planners, others morning planners, discover which works for you. If you’re a nighttime planner, be sure that you have everything well prepared for the morning to follow so that you can relax in those valuable early hours. If you’re a morning planner, be sure to give yourself enough time to do your duties and still have a few spare minutes to relax before the day ahead.

 

Your morning can be the most magical time of the day if you want it to be! Start taking these little steps to gift yourself a great start every single day.
