My Philips Soup Maker does not work although light is on

If your Philips Soup Maker is not working even with the light on:
1. You have not pressed the start button.
2. You have exceeded the MAX indication in the jug. Remove some of the ingredients and make sure the ingredients are spread evenly over the bottom of the jug.
